Russell Ballard once said “The joy of motherhood comes in moments. There will be hard times and frustrating times. But amid the challenges, there are shining moments of joy and satisfaction.”

How beautifully is motherhood explained in this little quote!

If you believe, motherhood is a blessing then it is definitely one, but if you think it is a burden, it could be one.

In short, motherhood may seem like a cursed blessing! It just depends on the way you perceive it.

Pregnancy is a phase which shifts the phase of womanhood into motherhood. It is the most beautiful phase of a woman’s life. To put it precisely, it is rather the most important phase of life.

Motherhood is magical…

Motherhood is magical. It grants you the power to grow passionate for someone even before seeing them, giving you an amazing instinct to grow in love with somebody you’ve never met before.

Motherhood grants you the power to take care of your cubs, and to keep going no matter how drained you are. A child is a motivation to a mother when she’s absolutely exhausted, just like how pop-up music does wonder to a person at the gym. It expands your heart and fills it with more love than you have ever felt.

Children bring meaning to your life and you feel stronger with them. Motherhood makes you feel complete, giving an added purpose to life.

In the modern world, women’s perception on pregnancy is that, it is a hindrance. They feel that they may lose on every factor like fitness or career.

Women today anticipate that pregnancy and motherhood is a hurdle because they would have to quit their job and they may not resume their career or they may even not be able to regain their body shape.

Pregnancy is the union of sperm, ovum and the Divine presence, without which it is not possible. Hence, when the divine presence descends in the form of a soul, it is no less than a blessing.

Motherhood begins the very moment wish to conceive and continues throughout life. It is a very big responsibility, being to influence future legends.

Taking this duty affirmatively can help you be proud to create the stars of the future. A child is a gift the almighty can give to you and, you can gift to this world.

What kind of a future are you leaving behind for this world?

Everything is in your hands. Yes, your social life may affect for a while, but the pleasure of creation of another human being from your body will override the sacrifice.

The love, affection, security and nurture will automatically arise from your soul and heart, and it will no longer feel like a responsibility. A servant or a nanny cannot be a replacement to motherhood.

You, the father and the mother need to focus on bringing up your child. You are basically the potter moulding the future of your child.

This reminds me of a quote by Jessica Lange: “The natural state of motherhood is unselfishness!”; seems quite undeniable!
